We are delighted to announce that The Golden Fleece will be BACK IN BUSINESS at 3pm on Saturday the 4th of July. We have implemented some significant changes to how we operate to ensure the safety of our team and customers and to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the Golden Fleece. Here’s some of what we are doing:
CHANGE OF OPENING HOURS
For July, our opening hours are as follows:
3pm – 10pm Saturday & Sunday
5pm – 10pm Monday to Friday
DON’T COME IF YOU FEEL UNWELL
Please help us keep COVID-19 out of the pub.
If you don’t feel well, stay at home and follow NHS guidelines.
PLEASE DON’T PHONE OR MESSAGE TO BOOK A TABLE
As ever, our pub is first come, first served. We reserve the right to change our minds about this, but in the meantime, we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to “pop-in” for a pint.
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE RULES
The current guidelines allow up to 6 people from any number of households to meet up. We cannot accommodate larger groups than this.
We are happy to have families in however children must remain seated at the table and stay no later than 7 pm.
We are a dog friendly pub but you must keep your dog on a leash.
WAIT TO BE SEATED
This is where things get a little different… When you get to the front door of the pub, you have to wait for a member of staff to take you to your table. We are a little pub with limited seating and we can’t have people wandering around looking for somewhere to sit.
HOPEFULLY YOU WON’T WAIT TOO LONG
We have decided against a booking system, but if customers have to queue to get in, we will set a maximum 2 hour limit at a table.
ORDER AT THE TABLE
Your server will take your order at the table and bring you your drinks. You need to pay by contactless card or phone. Please don’t make a fuss about this, or tell us the Illuminati will know where you are.
We need your contact details. We will take one name and telephone number per household and will only hold the details for the mandatory 21 days. We will not use your information for any other reason.
One in, one out of our loos please. There isn’t enough space for social distancing in our toilets, so we have put an extra lock on the outer doors.
Staff will be regularly cleaning the toilets, surfaces, taps & door handles. You need to help us too by thoroughly washing your hands and using the sanitise stations around the pub.
THANKS FOR READING!
We look forward to seeing you back in the pub!”
